\nDie meisten synthetischen Materialien werden aus Polyester gefertigt, weil Polyester stark, s\u00e4urebest\u00e4ndig und nicht temperaturempfindlich ist. Werden die Polyester-Dr\u00e4hte durch antistatische Dr\u00e4hte ersetzt, ergibt sich als weiterer Vorteil, dass keine elektrostatische Aufladung stattfindet.
\nPolyester-Gewebe wird in der Lebensmittelindustrie verwendet, unter anderem bei der Herstellung von Kaffee- und Milchpulver, Babymilchpulver sowie K\u00e4se- und Tomatenpulver und auch f\u00fcr Tierfutter Zudem wird Polyester-Gewebe auch in der Holzwerkstoffindustrie (MDF und OSB) eingesetzt.
\nDie Kanten- und Seitenverarbeitung des Polyester-Gewebes erfolgt entsprechend den Anforderungen der Kunden. Es k\u00f6nnen Befestigungselemente aus Edelstahl oder eine einfache Schlaufennaht, eine doppelte Schlaufennaht oder Endlosnaht verwendet werden.
